Akhil co-leads Interim Partners Consumer finance practice. Akhil has been supporting boards and executive teams for over 13 years, with his community of interims delivering great outcomes for Financial Service businesses going through complex business challenges.
Akhil studied politics at Brunel University, prior to joining interim Partners, Akhil spent some time working at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office focussing on International Relations with nations in the Far East.
Akhil has over 13 year’s experience within financial and professional services having assisted retail banks, challenger banks, pre-licence banks and consumer lending businesses overcoming complex challenges.
Akhil’s community of delivery focussed on Interim Executives adds significant value to leadership teams and are typically functional leaders who support boards and businesses through significant change, growth and transformation.
Recent highlights include: Delivering a Bank licence application team who have successfully worked on three Bank licence applications; Assisting a consumer lender through significant turnaround and finance transformation for a PE owned European Bank who needed support in driving business transformation.

Akhil has worked with boards of FTSE businesses right through to new challenger/pre-licence banks who are building from the ground up.
Akhil is an avid sportsman who has played a variety of sports to county and national level including Football and Tennis, when not working or playing sports you can catch Akhil on the runway heading to Vegas.
