Jack is responsible for connecting clients in the asset and wealth management space with senior level interims. With asset and wealth managers experiencing unprecedented amounts of change and an increased need to stay competitive, supplying sector experts to solve business problems is going to be as important as ever.
With shrinking margins, increased regulatory pressure and a more demanding client base, the buy-side is being squeezed more than ever. AUM behemoths now offer super cheap fees, nimble start-ups are bringing new and unique propositions to the fray and firms are vying for unique ways to generate alpha. Change and transformation is therefore on everyone’s agenda and it is Jack’s aim to help firms in the buy-side scale this changing landscape.
Having completed his degree in geography from Queen Mary (University of London), Jack started his career at a successful mid-market recruiter where he progressed to the position of principal consultant on their asset and wealth management desk. Adopting a consultative approach and recognising the importance of building strong relationships through trust and a problem orientated approach, Jack has become a reliable partner to many customers in the asset and wealth management space.
Jack’s client experience straddles institutional asset management, retail asset management, wealth management, private banking, asset servicing, third party vendors/fintechs, regulators and hedge funds.
Typical assignments include: TOM design and implementation, digital proposition builds, product design, IT transformation, M&A activity/integration, regulatory change, and outsourcing etc.
Outside of work, Jack is an avid cyclist. On two wheels he’s completed Lands’ End to John O’Groats, toured much of Great Britain and cycled much of the Alps, Pyrenees, Dolomites and more recently the Dalmatian Coast in Croatia.
