Sarah Stevenson joined Interim Partners in February 2016 to lead the Social Housing practice, following a track record of 15 years delivering professional services to the public and not-for-profit sector.
Sarah is now focused on building up the Social Housing practice, placing executive level interims into housing associations, local authorities, executive agencies, NDPB’s as well as charities and wider third sector.
The challenges facing the housing sector have never been greater. Sarah understands these and is committed to providing interim management solutions that add proven value from day one. Her solutions are always delivery focused, be it managing a turnaround or a merger, or providing an assured resource to cover a board level gap.
Sarah thrives on developing deep relationships with her trusted interims. She builds an understanding of each interim’s personal strengths, as well as skills and experience, to identify the best match and cultural fit for the interim assignment.
Sarah has been working as a business psychologist, providing consultancy services to the public and private sectors; this included talent management, organisation development, selection and assessment, leadership development and individual and team coaching. Prior to this she worked as an executive director for a medium size public sector recruitment company for over 10 years, where she was one of the founding members. Her areas of focus included NHS (non-clinical), social housing, regeneration, education and skills, policy and strategy and marcomms.
Sarah completed her undergraduate psychology degree at Durham University, then graduated from City University with distinction in a Masters degree in Organisational Psychology. Sarah is passionate about food and eating out, and likes to exercise to enable her to indulge in the former. She skis regularly and enjoys travelling with her husband and toddler, and would take her cats too if she could!
