Tom co-leads the Consumer Finance practice within Interim Partners' Financial Services and Professional Services practice. Tom has a passion for the challenger and alternative financial services sectors having spent the last 5 years working with their boards and executive teams to support change and nurture growth. Tom has managed some of the businesses largest customer relationships and continues to actively develop new strategic clients.
Tom was educated at Tonbridge School and studied design at the coveted Chelsea School of Art. Before joining the New street, group Tom worked in marketing and communications predominantly across Diageo’s Reserve Brands Group.
Tom joined the New Street Group in 2012, working for BrightPool, where he built and lead the strategic hires business in the ever-emerging challenger banking and financial services sector. Tom transitioned to Interim Partners where he has always focused on the challenger financial services, banking and consumer lending sectors.
He has broad experience of working with boards and executive teams for the last 5 years at Interim Partners delivering solutions across:
- Regulatory reform
- Mergers, acquisitions & disposals
- Capital restructuring
- TOM development
- Technology transformation
- Commercial / operational strategy
- Banking license applications
- Product development
Tom has built strategic relationships and partnered with some of the groups biggest customers. Examples of mandates include a two-year project building a new Managed Risk Services business for a Big 4 Consultancy; a new Banking license application team for a major UK financial services player; treasury transformation for a global cards business in Madrid through their private equity owners; a wide number of interim C-Suite execs for UK and European Banks.
Tom is a passionate watch collector and outside of the office you will usually find him on a bike with or without a motor!
