    A leading B2B SME Trading Company in the South East is currently seeking an ambitious and energetic Managing Director to lead the business into a period of growth. With a network of customers throughout the UK and Europe, the business offers tried and tested corporate product & service led solutions combined with a thorough aftermarket proposition.

    The primary focus for the Managing Director will be to manage the sales function of the business, ensuring targets are met in terms of revenue, profitability and high levels of customer care. As well having developed your career via the sales route, the ideal candidate needs to have a detailed understanding of working in a multi-channel business.

    You will be data driven and analytical; and will be able to demonstrate you have used data to make business critical decisions. We are looking for a well-rounded commercial individual who can demonstrate experience of developing sales and marketing strategies which target different consumer groups (SME and Corporate) and account planning including contact strategy. A thorough understanding of digital strategy is essential.

    You will have experience of managing and implementing change successfully and be able to communicate a clear, strategic sales vision, effectively training and coaching your team.

    Experience of working in an international group structure would be advantageous.

    Essential to the role is a background in both account management and a "product" led sales business, selling directly to the end user (B2B) and to have developed your career via the sales route having previously have worked as a Sales Director or equivalent.
