Interim Associate Director of Governance
My client is now looking for an interim Associate Director of Governance to work as part of the Medical Director's leadership team. The post holder will provide leadership and direction to the clinical governance function including the development of the capability and capacity of the Department to ensure it meets the organisations needs. This is a very senior position to the Trust with lead senior Management responsibility for the development of quality and safety systems throughout the organisation and for ensuring continuous improvement in the delivery of patient services.
The Post holder will lead the development and implementation of clinical governance and assurance systems across the Trust, ensuring that systems demonstrate robust reporting and accountability arrangements. The role also includes supporting the delivery of systems and processes to ensure a framework is in place to enable the Trust Board to monitor clinical services and make decisions based on assurances in place.
You will need to provide expert advice and support to the Executive Directors, Senior Managers and others on quality and safety issues, personally leading focused reviews and investigation of key risks and issues here required.
