Interim IT Outsourcing Consultant
Interim Partners are currently working with a medium sized charity who are looking to identify an experienced IT professional to undertake a strategic review of the charities ICT function.
As the successful candidate you will carry out a due diligence process to gain a detailed understanding of the ICT support services, including existing and future expected workloads and organisation structure in place to support demand. You will be required to recommend the optimal support model, including consideration of insource and outsource resourcing options and identify potential suppliers of support services and propose a shortlisting methodology.
In addition, you will be required to produce a detailed RFP, with technical, quality and financial assessment process. The outcome of this assignment it to propose the most appropriate future ICT organisation structure, this should include a proposal for any transitional states of the structure throughout the period.
The ideal candidate will have a background in IT and have a previous track record of outsourcing an ICT function. You will have a background in procurement as well as a detailed understanding of the options available to outsource. You will be robust in nature with excellent communication skills and the ability to carry out effective contract negotiations. You will be creative in your approach and have previously written successful RFP's and business cases. In addition, you will be commercially astute and bring a detailed understanding of the outsourcing IT landscape.
