    Primary Care Network Manager

    Interim Partners NHS client is looking to recruit an interim Primary Care Network Manager. The successful candidate will support the Primary Care Team to ensure that the projects within the team are planned, managed and delivered effectively.

    Key responsibilities:

    Lead the delivery of specific GP Forward View, QIPP or other projects and schemes

    To provide technical project management expertise using project management methodology

    To work with the Programme Manager and Network Relationship Managers in ensuring that the programme portfolio is adequately planned in terms of resources to deliver a successful outcome

    Support the Primary Care Team in defining the project scope, undertaking analysis, benefits, risks, resources and assessment of potential impact on services

    To prepare and maintain project plans as required

    To effectively manage project risks, including the development of contingency plans

    Support the commissioning of primary care services and delivery of the statutory obligations

    Contribute to and where appropriate lead on procurements and ongoing contract management

    Create and maintain detailed project documentation in accordance with the CCGs governance requirements including progress and escalation reports

    Key skills:

    Significant experience of working with primary care providers

    Evidence of continued professional development

    Demonstrated experience of co-ordinating projects in complex and challenging environments

    Experience of drafting briefing papers and correspondence for consideration at board and committee level

    Experience of monitoring budgets and business planning processes

    Understanding of the NHS and the current issues facing primary care

    Demonstrated experience in an NHS commissioning environment
