    My client, a top 20 UK Housebuilder is looking to make efficiency improvements in the early part of 2019 and as such, are looking to appoint an Interim Business Improvement Consultant.

    Initially you will tasked with a discovery piece, looking at but not limited to the following:

    • Perform a root to branch analysis of current construction practices
    • Supply chain assessment - both regional and national
    • Implement a \"quick fix\" - start, stop, continue protocol
    • Deliver a strategic vision for construction efficiency
    • Depending on the outcome of the Strategic vision piece, you may be retained, in order to deliver the transformation programme.

    The successful candidate will demonstrate a good track record of using Lean Six Sigma to as part of business improvement projects to ultimately deliver efficiencies. Ideally you will have had exposure to the house building sector or at the very least, the construction industry and have practical understanding of the integral processes within the sector, or, failing that, be sector agnostic but an absolute expert at implementing the Lean Six Sigma practices. The client has a corporate head office in central London although the majority of the work can be carried out remotely but will require a degree of national travel. The work is expected to take 12 months, but there will be an initial 3 month review period.
