Interim Commissioning Consultants
Interim Partners are working with a CCG to identify talented individuals to join their commissioning team for a 3 - 6 month period whilst they recruit substantively.
This is an exciting time to join the CCG as they are working to create a 2 year finance and commissioning plan for their local system. To make this happen, they are looking to appoint experienced, delivery focussed interims to work with the commissioning and finance teams to develop aligned QIPP and transformation programmes, specifically in unplanned care, community services and on their planned care portfolio.
The successful candidates will be responsible for embedding the CCGs priorities and achieving the goals within the transformation programme. You will have experience and demonstrable track record in system pathway redesign in all the usual CCG areas of MSK, Cardiology, respiratory and diabetes. A working knowledge of tariffs and pricing would be beneficial.
As the successful candidates you will have experience in innovation in the above areas including alliance contracting. This CCG is looking to establish a balanced QIPP programme which includes transactional and transformational schemes and has the right phasing built in. Their aim is to get delivery underway quickly with proven QIPP schemes therefore they are looking for the right injection of experience and expertise to support the team to achieve.
You will also be able to demonstrate an understanding of the dynamics within a CCG and balance against the political environment. Extensive change management experience at a senior level is essential as is a comprehensive understanding of contracting and performance strategy and processes.
The ideal candidates will have strong financial acumen, a dynamic personality with the ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships and wide support networks. Creative thinking, gravitas and high level communication skills are essential.
