Interim Head of Procurement
My client, a social housing provider in London is looking for an experienced interim to lead their procurement function for 6 months from the end of September.
The successful candidate must have experience of resident engagement/consultation which will come from having worked either for local authorities or housing associations. They will be leading a small team with a key priority of engaging the internal stakeholders in new procurement activities and ongoing contract management. A procurement consultancy have been engaged to set up two major construction contracts, and this interim will be responsible for clienting this project. Other deliverables include:
1. Collaborating with property services to ensure their needs are represented with new the new procurement
2. Giving confidence to Board members and Auditors by ensuring governance is sound
3. Standardising contract management processes
It is essential that the interim is well versed in running structured leasehold consultation as part of the procurement process
