    Our client, a medium sized social housing provider in London is looking to engage an experienced interim Director to lead a minimum of three corporate functions to cover a period of medium term absence. This organisation is undergoing a period of systemic transformation and this role is vital in supporting this change. This individual will lead their direct reports with empathy and gravitas, and will be well versed in making a quick impact and accurately assessing context.

    This role is responsible for providing strategic leadership in the areas covered by the role which include HR, Comms and governance. They will be responsible for ensuring:

    • A robust approach to governance, compliance and assurance across the businesses enabling access to the exec team for appropriate advice/support.
    • An approach to Human Resources that delivers effective support to colleagues through business partnering and creating a great colleague experience
    • Strong leadership of an effective communications team that supports the business.

    The individual must experienced in the stewardship of all three functions within a social housing provider or local authority. They will have demonstrated the ability to work in a highly changeable environment and provide stability and assurance to staff and the executive team alike. They will have operated at director level for a small to medium sized organisation
