    Our client, a leading domiciliary home care provider is seeking an interim Care Manager to lead their team of 30 and support them in a \"hands on\" capacity.

    The interim Care Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the operational service runs in an efficient and safe manner for those patients who are looked after on a day to day basis.

    The role will require strong leadership, the ability to work well in a team setting and the requirement to report to the Board as and when required.

    Responsibilities will also include ensuring that the service is seamless in terms of governance & care and oversight of the Health and Safety regulations remain prevalent at all times.

    You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards are adhered to in practice, to enable safe care at all times.

    The ideal candidate will:

    Be able to demonstrate previous experience within a domiciliary care service with at least 5 years similar experience.

    Have extensive experience of leading a team and be able to manage effectively the operational rosters

    Understand the high standards of care required and be able to take responsibility for the MARS records for patients

    Be able to present at weekly meetings to the SMT, regular updates on service provision and operations with recommendations as and when required

    Experience of a multi-site setting would be an advantage

    The ability to use some application tracking/technical systems for the management of some care areas alongside their day to day duties

    Have a minimum of a level 5 NVQ qualification
