Our client, a multi-site brand within the Leisure & Hospitality sector seeks an interim Strategy Director to support both the board and senior leadership with the deployment of (and subsequent operational-alignment to) their revised group strategy. With a number of large change-initiatives currently in-flight, this requirement will support, guide and reconcile departmental objectives with the wider strategic vision and framework, offering highly intellectual coaching to senior teams in order to maximise revenue-generating opportunities across all areas (digital, tech, operations, property, customer, finance etc). Furthermore, you will be responsible for all strategy-related governance, maintaining a regularity around cadence and will support exec level management with the articulation and communication of the strategy to the rest of the business. From a corporate perspective, the business has factored a number of considerations around acquisition, group-restructuring and refinancing and it is a prerequisite that candidates have deep experience in these areas. Finally it is also expected that candidates have extensive experience from within one of the large strategy consulting firms, will preferably hold an MBA from one of top business schools and will be able to demonstrate considerable experience of delivering complex strategies within consumer-led industries.
