17 April 2018 - HR & Talent briefing
This year, our series of exclusive events for Senior HR & Talent Leaders will be looking at the Future World of Work.
We would like to invite you to our next event, to be hosted by our partners Bird & Bird, on the morning of 17th April 2018.
Theme: The Future World of Work - the Legal Perspective
Date: 17th April 2018
Venue: Bird & Bird, 12 New Fetter Lane, London EC4A 1JP
The world of work is changing apace. The rise in 'gig economy' working, apprenticeships and AI, bring with them different opportunities and challenges - including some significant legal risks.
In this session, Bird & Bird's International HR Services Group will look at the changing employment landscape in the UK, focusing on:
the gig economy and the challenges this brings with it, including how to classify individuals that work for your business and how to mitigate and manage any employment law risks associated with a blended workforce of employees, workers, apprentices and/or self-employed contractors;
the benefits and challenges of increasing demand for flexibility at work; and
issues employers need to be aware of when considering the introduction of AI and other types of new technologies into the workplace.
The event - a briefing followed by a roundtable discussion - will be hosted by Bird & Bird’s International HR Services Group in their London office.
If you are a Senior HR or Talent professional and want to know more about how the Future World of Work may affect your organisation - and what you can do to mitigate the potential legal risks - please join us.
We hope you will be able to join us.
