Interim Partners were engaged by one of the UK’s largest retail and commercial banks who were experiencing difficulties delivering a Mortgage Market Review (MMR) programme under FCA guidelines. The challenge ahead was to deliver a regulatory compliant advised mortgage salesforce into two of the banks telephone centres and its UK wide branch network.

Interim Partners sourced an interim MMR Programme Director who took control of this chronically late and underscoped regulatory programme and rapidly mobilised the programme to define and agree scope and deliverables.

The appropriate IT systems, sales and operations processes, MI governance and control changes to deliver a compliant end to end mortgage sales process were delivered. Where appropriate, sales processes were simplified to bring the banks customer experience more in line with market practice. 

Within this short period the interim manager demonstrated instant knowledge and understanding of the challenges ahead, worked at pace to deliver a fully compliant solution to meet the regulators requirements and left a legacy of best practice. Due to the successful outcome the individual was retained for a separate programme within the bank.
