Simon Gough

Simon started his career in retail in 1990, based in London working in the clothing trade. Over the course of the next 10 years, he built his own business manufacturing clothes around the world, which were sold via wholesale, mail order and individual retail units across Europe. Simon successfully sold his business at the beginning of 2000 and, after working through the handover, moved into executive search and selection joining one of the industry's biggest consultancies. His recruitment career has been focused on FMCG and Food Retail, which has involved working with major organisations such as Coca Cola, Nestle, Glaxo SmithKline, Tesco and ASDA. Through his significant network of clients and candidates, Simon witnessed increasing interest in the merits of interim management and subsequently moved into the senior interim market. He joined Interim Partners in 2006 where he has enjoyed considerable success in developing its FMCG practice.
