Tom Legard

Tom's career started in the financial services industry in the City of London, where he progressed to become a Senior Vice President of the world's largest provider of financial data and software before returning home to Yorkshire in 2004.

Since then, he has worked as a business development consultant establishing a HNW Investor network successfully raising funds for a number of early stage businesses. This work included helping a regional executive search firm build a financial services desk where he had a number of high profile placements to his name, and most recently, helping to develop the deal origination desk for a boutique firm of corporate finance lead advisors, specialising in advising shareholders and owners of engineering and manufacturing companies on acquisitions, disposals, restructuring and fundraising.

A keen traveler and passionate fly-fisherman, Tom is married to Lizzie and also lists reading, gardening, country sports and skiing amongst his hobbies.
