Interim Partners becomes an Age Positive Employer
Interim Partners was awarded this status because they changed their internal policies to ensure that we avoid age discrimination.
The law changes next year but the Directors at Interim Partners felt it was important to act now ahead of changes in the legislation. Andrew McIntee a Director at Interim Partners said “There are currently less than 150 Age Positive Employer Champions in the UK and we are in good company as the likes of BT, The Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development, HBOS, IKEA, Marks and Spencer, Tesco and Yorkshire Water are all part of the initiative. Being Age Positive improves our business because it allows us to focus on skills and experience and not on other less relevant factors. When resourcing for an assignment our Age Positive policy allows us to concentrate on placing the best person available for the role as this is how our clients want us to operate. We consider our Interim Managers to be ambassadors for our business and satisfying our clients is the mechanism which fuels the growth our company.”
