Brightpool is one year old
Brightpool has reached its first birthday. The year has passed incredibly quickly and we have achieved far more than expected.
Brightpool was set up to provide our larger clients with a knowledgeable and tailored service that allowed them to procure large numbers of professional contractors. It focuses within the temporary, contracting and interim space, where candidates rates ranges between £250 and £500 per day. Key wins with two FTSE 100 Financial Service providers, RSA and Lloyds Banking Group ensured we got off to a great start.
We have been delighted to attract some excellent consultants who have really embraced our business and are totally committed to providing high levels of service. They are already proving to be the foundation that will allow us to substantially scale the company next year.
The key account wins and the performance of the team means we are confident that we can grow the business rapidly. To help us achieve this aim we have just appointed a new Managing Director who is well known within our sector. I hope to announce his arrival in the near future.
Also key to the success that Brightpool has achieved has been the development of Brightpool Connect - which is an online portal that tracks the performance of the candidates against goals set by our clients at the outset. Brightpool Connect also allows our clients and candidates to review spend, authorise payment of timesheets and send post messages on a message board that can only be viewed by the stakeholders involved. Some of clients’ have already integrated our goal tracking tool into how they measure performance internally.
We have an exciting agenda planned for next year. We hope to redevelop the Brightpool website to allow for some of the social media technology, blogs and assignment distribution tools that we already have established on our IP site. It is likely that we will also move our London office to accommodate a larger team.
