Interim Partners raises money for St Gemma's and St Michael's Hospices
Duncan Hoggett, Head of Transport, Energy and Utilities, and Jonathan Flynn, Head of Retail and Leisure, have taken up the challenge of raising money for two local charities.
Duncan completed the London marathon and raised £2,000 for St Gemma's Hospice in Leeds. He said: "This was my first marathon. The atmosphere was amazing and the crowds really do carry you round. I certainly plan to run again next year."
Jonathan is getting on his bike and tackling the Hadrian's Cycleway, which is a 174 mile coast-to-coast bike ride. Starting on 4th June in Ravenglass, Cumbria the route goes through Carlisle and Newcastle before arriving in Tynemouth on 6th June. Jonathan said: "I've never attempted a challenge like the Hadrian's Cycleway before but I'm delighted to be doing this in support of such a worthy charity. I've received overwhelming support both in terms of sponsorship and training tips (padded shorts the best advice so far) and I'm looking forward to getting underway."
